WASTE WATER TREATMENT
sea

In order to protect the environment all types of waste waters have to be treated before being released into the nature. Commonly mechanical, biological and/or chemical treatment techniques are for treating waste water. Coagulants (aluminium or iron salts) are used for aggregating and precipitating phosphates and colloidal particles, e.g. bacteria and virus. By doing so these otherwise non-settleable particles easily can be separated from the waste water.
