INCOPA’s membership includes more than 30 producers of inorganic coagulants. All members produce either aluminium or iron salts which are used in water treatment.

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

INCOPA’s members benefit from our in-depth knowledge of the inorganic coagulants industry and our involvement with the major European regulatory bodies. INCOPA actively monitors European Union directives and regulations, particularly in regard to water treatment and sludge disposal.

We also operate a system which alerts members to upcoming issues affecting the industry. This enables our members to appropriately manage such issues in a prompt and effective manner.

INCOPA is actively involved in the following issues which are currently affecting our industry:

  • Water related legislations
  • Phosphorous recovery
  • Best Available Technique Reference (BREF) documents under the EU’s Industrial Emissions Directive (IED).
  • Classification and labelling of products.
  • REACH implementation.
  • Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) of inorganic coagulants.
